Hello Everyone! This looks like a great forum and I am extremely anxious to hear about gardens in GB. I have wanted for decades to cross the ocean to see Kew etc but haven't made it yet.
I have 300+ potted plants that are grown under lights and in crowded windows in the winter. In the summer they are all moved outside for some fresh air.
I have a small yard that is rapidly losing the grassy areas. Most areas filled with various perennials and endemic trees pruned like bonsai. Annuals for constant color of course. I am hoping to put in some type of flowing water this year if the budget allows.
I have managed nurseries for years although not currently so I dream of a larger area to play in the mud. So many wonderful plants, so little room!

Hi rehlo. We're just coming out of a bad winter on this side of the pond so we're all only beginning to venture outside to see what the cold has left alive! It sounds like you keep yourself very busy with your plants so you will be in good company here. Welcome to the forum

Paul has graciously given me permission to tell you all about a 'Glorious Garden' event which is taking place at the Athenaeum House Hotel, April 20-22nd. The event will feature a talk from local gardening expert and tour guide to 3 gardens, Margaret Power, and also, a talk from our own local Entrepreneur and founder of GIY Ireland, Mr. Michael Kelly.
